Wedding Venue!

So here is my wedding venue, I know for sure I am doing the cocktail hour and reception here and am still trying to figure out if we are doing the ceremony. I am thinking most likely it will be here, its just too pretty to say no! I liked this venue because out of all the hotels on the beach this is the only one with a room that has windows. Whats the point of being on the beach if you cant see it! I am so excited because the cocktail hour will be in a different location than the reception on the beach lawn and deck next to the ceremony.

The Happy Couple: Danny and Molly

Dan is a 33 year old Systems Engineer at M2 Systems, he received his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from FIT, he played high school and college basketball, he loves fantasy football, cooking, watching all sports, trivia, and Molly! He is super sweet, hilarious, gorgeous inside and out and has the patience to put up with Molly! ...And don't forget tall.
Molly is a 28 year old Software Engineer at Harris Corporation, she received her Bachelors degree in Computer Science from UCF, she loves dancing, shopping, cooking, and Dan! She is creative, silly, fun, loud and a good friend!
The Setup:
Dan and I met 3 years ago on St. Patrick's Day 2006 at Meg O'Malley's when two mutual friends set us up. It was the brilliant idea of Rob Terry and Nate Falk made the set up happen. From March until August we "hung out" doing all group dates and finally in August we started dating without chaperones, since then we have been inseparable! Since Dan lived in Altamonte Springs and I in Satellite Beach the commuting was tough, but we still managed to see each other everyday. Dan moved to Satellite Beach in November 2008 making it so much easier!
The Engagement:
I am horrible with surprises, I blame it on us thinking too much alike, but every time Dan comes up with an idea to surprise me I come up with it and suggest it right after he thinks of it. Because of this Dan knew he had to "throw me off the scent" of him asking me to marry him, it couldn't be on a special date or someplace out of the ordinary, even a suggestion of walking on the beach would have been a red flag. So coming home from work on June 18th I had no idea what was in store for me. At home after dinner we were playing with our new puppies, we got new puppies two weeks ago, and he turned on my new favorite love song, Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop by Landon Pigg(two weeks before I was making fun of myself to Dan about how it made me teary-eyed at work), and we started dancing, which isn't out of the ordinary, then all of a sudden he got down on one knee and asked me if I would do him the honor of being his wife, will I marry him...I started crying and said of course!!
The Wedding:
Dan and I plan on getting married April 10th 2010 at the Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront with our close friends and family. More wedding details to come. The Blog:
I wanted to create a blog for our guests to be able to get information on the wedding, see details, and watch the planning happen in real time. Even if no one reads it or others who don't know us do, I think it will be a lot of fun to create and to help keep track of things!

And so it begins: Engagement

Danny and I got engaged on Thursday, June 18th 2009!! It was a total surprise and we are so excited!!! I think I have been on the phone telling people non-stop since Thursday night! I am such a planner, Friday I already met with the wedding coordinator at the hotel we will have the reception, right on the beach and gorgeous! April 10th is the big day!! I am so happy!! So I thought I would create a blog to keep up with all the activities and information for our guests!
